Work Environment

Our Chantilly location is an outpatient facility designed to provide specialized physical therapy services in a welcoming and accommodating setting. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in a team-oriented environment that values open communication and shared learning. Equipment and resources are readily available to enhance patient care and facilitate innovative therapy methods. Our dedicated team focuses on comprehensive rehabilitation, ensuring that every patient receives tailored and effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and evaluations to identify patients' functional limitations and disabilities.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, ensuring they align with patients' health goals and changes in condition.

• Effectively communicate treatment strategies to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery process.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and contemporary treatment modalities to promote effective rehabilitation outcomes.

• Document and maintain accurate and timely records of patient care activities, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and enhance interdisciplinary coordination.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with industry practices and enhance your clinical skills.

• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, as well as adherence to the company's internal protocols and procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. By performing individualized assessments and utilizing specialized therapeutic techniques, you will help patients regain strength and mobility, ultimately leading to improved quality of life. Your expertise will be vital in monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a similar outpatient orthopedic setting.

• Current CPR certification and knowledge of emergency procedures.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to engage effectively with patients and build rapport.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient patient documentation.

• Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation technologies and methods.

• Involvement in community outreach programs or initiatives that promote health and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits
