Work Environment

This position is offered onsite within our dedicated home care facility located in Dulles, Virginia, providing an engaging and supportive atmosphere for both therapists and patients. You will work standard hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a great work-life balance while focusing on patient-centered care. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources to enhance your practice and support your treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy care, crafting treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Assess patient conditions, utilizing your expertise in orthopedic practices to develop and implement effective treatment interventions.
• Maintain a comprehensive patient load, ensuring that each individual receives dedicated attention and support throughout their treatment journey.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patients' mobility and function, focusing on non-surgical interventions to improve overall outcomes.
• Document patient progress and treatment effectiveness using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Incorporate a variety of techniques and modalities, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to support rehabilitation efforts.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote holistic care and optimize treatment strategies.
• Conduct regular evaluations to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, emphasizing patient education and self-management strategies.
• Foster a supportive and motivating environment, encouraging patients to adhere to prescribed exercise regimens and lifestyle modifications.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• An active Virginia Physical Therapist license with a clean record, free from any sanctions or board proceedings.

• Proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise program design.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for effective documentation and patient tracking.
• A commitment to staying abreast of the latest physical therapy methodologies and evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a similar outpatient clinic or home care environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
