Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our outpatient practice, you will work onsite in a collaborative and supportive environment from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. You will be part of a close-knit team that includes two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to providing specialized orthopedic care. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients comprehensively to determine their physical therapy needs and goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of individuals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain an efficient patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and high-quality treatment delivery.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and prescribe specific exercise routines that enhance strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Explore and implement non-surgical alternatives to improve patient outcomes while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring that all services provided are accurately recorded for quality assurance.
• Monitor treatment effects and progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Motivate and encourage patients, fostering a positive rehabilitation atmosphere that enhances their overall experience.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with no previous disciplinary actions or board actions against the license.

• Adept in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
