Work Environment

Our Ashburn clinic is designed as an outpatient office with ample space for therapy sessions, featuring advanced equipment and a welcoming atmosphere. The workspace allows for collaboration among our team of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants, fostering an environment where innovative treatment modalities can be explored. As part of our organization, you will join a supportive team, working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, dedicated to providing personalized patient care in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals, limitations, and needs, establishing tailored treatment plans to meet those objectives.
• Manage a patient load that generally allows for one-on-one care per hour, ensuring personalized attention during each session.
• Implement a wide range of therapeutic techniques, utilizing manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities aimed at enhancing mobility and function.
• Continually evaluate treatment progress, making necessary adjustments to plans based on effectiveness and patient feedback.
• Educate patients on strategies to maintain health and prevent further injury, providing them with tools to promote long-term wellness.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients, including sharing insights and treatment strategies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatment procedures, progress notes, and patient communications within our EMR system, particularly using WebPT.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss case statuses and share best practices, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Kinetic Physical Therapy Clinic primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Our clientele typically consists of individuals covered by private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering high-quality, clinically effective interventions that prioritize patient well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Virginia Physical Therapist license without any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a solid understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
• Experience in designing and implementing tailored exercise programs based on individual patient assessments.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, including familiarity with WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• A background in sports medicine or specialized orthopedic treatment modalities is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
