Work Environment

The clinic boasts a spacious and modern outpatient office designed with patient comfort and therapy efficiency in mind. With over 5,000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine, you will work alongside a close-knit team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Effectively assess and fulfill the individual goals and needs of each patient, ensuring a patient-centric approach to care.
• Manage a patient load efficiently, conducting one-on-one sessions that promote focused recovery and engagement.
• Utilize your knowledge and experience in orthopedic outpatient care to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to unique patient conditions.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques aimed at improving patient mobility and functional capability, minimizing reliance on medications.
• Incorporate evidence-based treatments, ensuring all care interventions are grounded in the latest research and methodologies.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs that cater to the specific needs and goals of patients, fostering long-term health.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment process, enhancing their dedication and commitment to recovery.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress closely, and adjust care plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure multidisciplinary care that addresses all dimensions of patient health.
• Document all services provided accurately, maintaining thorough records to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves adult patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. By understanding each patient's unique circumstances, we aim to create a personalized care journey that facilitates optimal recovery and enhances overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no disciplinary actions or board actions recorded.
• Demonstrated skills in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in designing effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software is essential, with a preference for experience using WebPT.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient advocacy and engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Experience of at least 2 years in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Background in utilizing advanced treatment modalities and therapies to enhance patient recovery.
• A proven track record of successful patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
