This full-time role focuses on providing expert care to patients within our outpatient setting, helping them restore mobility and improve their quality of life. Work Environment

This position is based at our outpatient office in Herndon, Virginia, where you will work alongside two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify goals, limitations, and areas of concern.
• Manage a diverse patient caseload, allowing for individualized attention and care, often seeing one patient per hour.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans incorporating a variety of evidence-based techniques to enhance patients' mobility and strength.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress accurately in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, specifically utilizing WebPT.
• Provide education on injury prevention and wellness initiatives that promote long-term health.
• Motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they are engaged and informed.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly and make adjustments to care plans as necessary to optimize results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of our physical therapy services is primarily on orthopedic patients, which include individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. Our patients range from athletes to seniors, each with distinct needs and rehabilitation goals. By using a comprehensive approach to patient care, we aim to empower every individual under our care to achieve optimal health and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• An unblemished professional record with no history of disciplinary action against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription tailored to orthopedic cases.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Expertise in utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and management.
• Familiarity with developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to patient-specific needs.

Compensation and Benefits
