Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, using data to inform customized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques that promote healing and improve mobility.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, allowing you to dedicate quality time to each patient and monitor their progress closely.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation processes, and exercise techniques to promote ongoing wellness.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans that address all aspects of a patient's recovery.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Drive motivational strategies to engage patients in their rehabilitation, emphasizing the importance of commitment to therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clinical experience will primarily cater to patients with orthopedic concerns, including joint replacements, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. You will support individuals of all ages, adapting your approach to address the unique needs and goals of each client. Our patient population is proactive, with many individuals seeking not only recovery but also ways to enhance their overall fitness and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with no sanctions or history of disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in exercise programming.
• Adept in using EMR software, especially Web PT, to ensure meticulous documentation of patient care.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices and methods.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated success in utilizing targeted treatments for diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
