Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite in our modern outpatient clinic, which features well-equipped treatment rooms and rehabilitation equipment designed to facilitate various therapeutic approaches. You will benefit from a collaborative atmosphere, working closely with physical therapy aides, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care. The typical work schedule runs from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, promoting a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy sessions that address each patient's specific rehabilitation goals, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.
• Manage a balanced caseload of patients, devoting the necessary time and attention to promote effective outcomes.
• Leverage expertise in orthopedic treatments to design and implement appropriate therapy interventions, focusing on restoring function and mobility.
• Utilize non-surgical treatment alternatives whenever possible, aiming to reduce dependence on pain medications.
• Develop detailed care plans that incorporate various treatment modalities, facilitating patients' progress toward their recovery objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A track record of professional conduct, free from sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies.
• A strong capability in developing and executing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patients.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Thorough knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices and continued engagement with professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
