Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Provide evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities aimed at enhancing patient mobility and function.
• Maintain a manageable patient workload, dedicating adequate time and attention to foster quality care and effective rehabilitation.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, to document treatment provided and to track patient progress accurately.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for self-management and preventive care.
• Implement and assess the effectiveness of fitness and wellness programs, ensuring that they meet the specific rehabilitation needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of the patient's well-being.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive and positive environment.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of all services delivered to maintain compliance and provide the basis for ongoing patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries, including athletes and active individuals seeking rehabilitation for sports-related injuries. Our goal is to provide a non-surgical alternative to managing pain and enhancing mobility through targeted therapy. You will be instrumental in supporting clients who are focused on achieving full restoration of movement and pain-free functionality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, with a comprehensive understanding of orthopedic principles.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with a clean record free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective exercise regimens.
• Experience utilizing EMR systems, particularly Web PT, ensuring precise and efficient documentation processes.
• A commitment to staying updated with current evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred, providing you with the skills needed to excel in this role.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing tailored care plans and exercise programs.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
