Work Environment

This position is onsite at our Herndon rehabilitation facility, surrounded by a team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' needs and set personalized goals.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement effective treatment plans that emphasize functional recovery.
• Incorporate a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance range of motion and mobility.
• Educate patients on alternative pain management options to reduce reliance on medication and avoid surgery when possible.
• Design and lead individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored to patient needs during their recovery journey.
• Motivate patients through encouragement and support, instilling confidence as they progress towards their rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.
• Diligently document patient interactions, treatment sessions, and progress to maintain clear communication and effective care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. You will work with a diverse array of patients, primarily those covered by private insurance, which allows for a tailored approach to each individual's unique rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Strong foundation in orthopedic physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating hands-on proficiency and a passion for patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
