Work Environment

This full-time position is an onsite role in a well-established rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Centreville, Virginia. You will be working alongside a supportive team of two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), where collaboration and shared expertise contribute to a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify each patient's individual goals and treatment needs through comprehensive evaluations.
• Manage a focused caseload, providing one-on-one treatment to each patient for up to an hour per session.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic physical therapy to deliver effective, evidence-based interventions.
• Design and implement personalized, cost-effective treatment plans that enhance range of motion and functional mobility.
• Work towards reducing patients' reliance on medications by providing therapeutic alternatives and exploring surgical options judiciously.
• Engage in the development of comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring adherence to prescribed exercise regimens.
• Encourage a lifestyle of health and wellness that incorporates strength, flexibility, and balance training.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes using EMR software, specifically WebPT.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgical procedures, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A current, valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• An unblemished professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to create effective exercise protocols.
• Experience with EMR software applications, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience within an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practice.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
