As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of healthcare professionals including physical therapy assistants, physicians, and case managers, fostering a collaborative approach to patient wellness and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans targeting pain relief, muscle function improvement, and overall health restoration in accordance with physician recommendations.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, utilizing diagnostic and prognostic tests to inform treatment protocols.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants in the execution of therapy regimens, ensuring they adhere to established standards of care.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and physical agents like traction and massage in treatment plans.
• Assess the home environment of each client for rehabilitation appropriateness and propose recommendations to enhance client independence.
• Prepare and maintain detailed clinical records to document evaluations, treatment progression, and patient responses.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on treatment strategies, addressing necessary adjustments in therapy based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Educate clients and their families regarding exercise techniques, device usage, and long-term care strategies to encourage proactive management of their health.
• Be available to provide on-site assessments, support, and guidance during treatments involving physical therapy assistants.
• Ensure timely submission of clinical documentation and adherence to administrative policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification to ensure the safety of all clients during treatment.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance to facilitate travel to patient homes or appointments.
• A dedication to clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
• The ability to think creatively and make solid decisions independently.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation facility
• Familiarity with patient assessment tools and outcomes measurement.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging between USD 100,000 – 120,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
