Position Overview

Healing Touch Physical Therapy is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Centreville, Virginia. This full-time, onsite position is pivotal in helping our patients reclaim their mobility and enhance their quality of life. As a Physical Therapist, you will utilize evidence-based practices to deliver customized care that addresses the unique challenges faced by each patient.

Work Environment

This position is located in our vibrant rehabilitation facility in Centreville, Virginia. Our environment encourages collaboration and continuous learning, allowing our team of professionals to innovate and implement advanced therapeutic techniques. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which promotes a healthy work-life balance while ensuring patient care is delivered in a structured and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the specific therapeutic needs and goals of patients.
• Evaluate patient progress through effective monitoring and outcome assessment to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Conduct engaging therapy sessions with a patient load of one individual per hour, providing focused attention and quality care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on fitness and wellness, encouraging proactive steps in their rehabilitation journey.
• Document all patient interactions and therapy sessions accurately, ensuring compliance with standards and practices, and maintain high-quality records using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Consult with and refer to other healthcare professionals as necessary to maximize interdisciplinary collaboration for optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy services cater primarily to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be working closely with a diverse patient demographic, from active adults to elderly patients seeking recovery and improved functionality. Your expertise will not only aid in physical recovery but also in holistic wellness and prevention strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and in developing exercise programs tailored to specific patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings will be highly considered.
• Hands-on experience with developing holistic treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
