Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at PerformAX, your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and enhancing motor function in alignment with client capabilities and physician prescriptions.
• Overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to ensure the effective execution of care plans, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic assessments, ensuring comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Assessing clients' home environments to make recommendations that facilitate rehabilitation and promote greater independence.
• Delivering physical therapy in adherence to physician directives, including the administration of therapeutic exercises, manual treatment techniques, and the application of modalities.
• Monitoring, documenting, and reporting changes in patients' conditions and responses to therapy, coordinating with physicians and case managers for plan adjustments as necessary.
• Contributing actively to interdisciplinary team discussions, driving collaborative approaches to patient care that integrate input from various healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits
