Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Centreville, Virginia. Here, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapy assistants and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care is delivered effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate clients' physical conditions through comprehensive examinations, utilizing diagnostic tests related to muscle, nerve, joint, and overall functional abilities.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans designed to prevent disability, alleviate pain, and restore muscle function in accordance with physician's prescriptions.
• Oversee and guide physical therapy assistants in executing care plans, ensuring the highest level of service is provided.
• Administer both manual and mechanized therapeutic exercises, providing instruction, motivation, and support for clients during both manual and non-manual exercises.
• Execute and supervise physical therapy services within clients' homes, tailoring treatments to their environments to facilitate optimal training and recovery.
• Conduct functional assessments through clinical evaluations and home environment assessments to enhance clients' independence.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries, in adherence with regulatory standards.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and strategies for optimizing patient care.
• Provide education to clients and families regarding therapy regimens, equipment usage, and preventative care measures.
• Respond promptly to any changes in clients' conditions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and communicating updates to the healthcare team.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training to keep abreast of advances in the field.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
