Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient office, where you will collaborate closely with a team of experienced physical therapists and healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine that benefits both staff and patients. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care, designing and implementing personalized treatment plans to meet the unique goals of each patient.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, dedicating sufficient time for comprehensive assessments and hands-on therapy sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to facilitate recovery, employing advanced assessment techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Encourage patients to opt for non-surgical alternatives, effectively minimizing reliance on medications to manage their conditions.
• Craft holistic care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs that cater to the individual requirements of each patient.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to ensure optimal and effective therapeutic outcomes.
• Inspire and motivate patients during their recovery journey, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle through enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination for sustainable outcomes.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, leveraging diverse expertise to enhance patient care.
• Continuously assess and document treatment progress, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with clinic standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on providing care to a diverse patient population, including athletes, individuals recovering from surgeries, and those with chronic pain or mobility issues. Our clinic aims to empower patients through education and skill-building, ensuring they are equipped to manage their own health and wellness effectively.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active, unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques, with a solid understanding of exercise program design.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for precise patient documentation.
• In-depth knowledge of current physical therapy research and practices, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based care.

Preferred Experience

• A track record demonstrating successful outcomes in an outpatient setting, particularly in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience developing and implementing treatment plans aligned with patients' specific goals and progress.
• Active participation in continuing education and professional development to remain updated on best practices in the field.

Compensation and Benefits

Our salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from approximately $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
