Strongpoint Rehabilitation, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at our rehabilitation facility located in Centreville, Virginia. This full-time, onsite position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, alongside an array of benefits. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative and multidisciplinary team dedicated to addressing patient challenges in a supportive rehabilitation facility. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent routine that allows for effective patient management. Our facility is equipped with modern therapy apparatuses and tools to ensure that the best practices in physical therapy are delivered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients, assessing their functional limitations and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet their specific rehabilitation needs.

• Implement treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, utilizing evidence-based methods to optimize recovery and enhance mobility.

• Perform necessary assessments while retaining comprehensive documentation that captures the patient's progress, including detailed initiation evaluation notes and follow-up summaries.

• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, recognizing and documenting significant changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to the treatment plan.

• Engage in discharge planning, ensuring patients understand their recovery journey and follow-up care, underpinning the continuity of care.

• Participate in facility meetings and training sessions, contributing to a culture of learning and improvement within the organization.

• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations while adhering to internal policies and industry best practices.

• Evaluate and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary, ensuring clear and justified documentation of necessity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse range of patients, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and other physical impairments that impact their mobility and daily functioning. You will play a crucial role in not only rehabilitating patients but also providing them with education on injury prevention and long-term health maintenance.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program is required.

• Current state licensure as a DPT is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is necessary to ensure proficiency and competence in clinical practice.

• Current CPR certification is essential to ensure safety and emergency preparedness in all patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum experience requirement is two years, candidates with advanced skills in specific therapeutic modalities or additional certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy are encouraged to apply, as these could enhance the care we provide at Strongpoint Rehabilitation.
