Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and functional training to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting treatment responses and adjusting care plans as necessary to maximize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, self-care techniques, and the use of assistive devices to enhance independence.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements by attending workshops and participating in professional organizations.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological disorders, and age-related balance issues. Our clinic focuses on empowering patients to regain their desired level of function through personalized care and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not required.
• Active state license in Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and family members.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly in electronic health record systems and productivity software.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in dynamic clinical scenarios.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient or rehabilitation environments.
• Experience with specific modalities or advanced techniques such as dry needling, Kinesio taping, or advanced manual therapy techniques is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
