We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Physical Therapist to join our esteemed Kinetic Physical Therapy Clinic in Manassas, Virginia. This full-time position allows you to play a vital role in shaping the lives of patients as you guide them through their rehabilitation journeys, helping them restore movement, enhance their quality of life, and achieve their peak performance. With a focus on outpatient orthopedic care, you'll utilize your expertise in promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation.

Work Environment

The clinic operates on-site in a modern, spacious 5000 square-foot facility dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation. You will be part of a collaborative team consisting of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all working towards the common goal of maximizing patient outcomes. The clinic's atmosphere is dynamic and engaging, with a strong emphasis on providing personalized care and fostering long-term relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on thorough assessments of patients' needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one patient care, maintaining a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure high-quality attention.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to offer cost-effective treatment options that enhance patients' mobility and functionality.
• Employ a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to promote recovery and pain relief.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and self-management techniques to promote long-term wellness.
• Document all patient interventions and progress accurately and in a timely manner using our electronic medical records (EMR) system, including WebPT.
• Maintain active collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals with private medical insurance who seek rehabilitation for various orthopedic conditions. You will work with a diverse mix of patients, from those recovering from surgical procedures to athletes aiming to enhance their performance. Your role will lead to substantial impacts on their recovery and overall physical health.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no disciplinary actions recorded.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid grasp of exercise program design and implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to engage patients in their treatment plans and motivate them throughout their recovery journey.
• Familiarity with EMR software systems, particularly with platforms like WebPT.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is ideal. Candidates familiar with rehabilitation protocols for post-operative patients and non-surgical treatment options will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits
