Work Environment

This position is based at our vibrant outpatient office in Manassas, Virginia. Our clinic is designed to foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, essential for both staff well-being and patient healing. You will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, allowing for work-life balance alongside fulfilling clinical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other specialized interventions to facilitate rehabilitation both within the clinic and as home health visits.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize treatment approaches, ensuring an integrated care plan across all specialties associated with orthopedic trauma.
• Uphold high standards of customer service, actively engaging with patients to foster a welcoming environment and enhance clinic operations.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans and self-management techniques, supporting them through motivational interviewing and setting realistic, functional goals.
• Regularly review patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, guided by evidence-based practices and performance metrics.
• Participate in community outreach and educational events, emphasizing the importance of physical therapy in improving health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, including those recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic pain issues. You will engage with a diverse population, encompassing all age groups and various levels of physical ability. Establishing trust and effective communications with patients will be essential in driving their rehabilitation success.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure in physical therapy, ensuring compliance with Virginia's healthcare regulations.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience, showcasing your ability to assess and treat patients effectively.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside basic computer proficiency for documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to facilitate efficient patient documentation and care coordination.
• Proven track record of fostering patient relationships and achieving therapeutic outcomes, reflecting strong community engagement.
• Knowledge in contemporary treatment methodologies tailored to orthopedic rehabilitation, enhancing your contribution to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
