Locomotion Restore Physical Therapist Services is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Manassas, Virginia. About the Organization

At Locomotion Restore, we specialize in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities and a patient-centered approach to rehabilitation. Our 5,000-square-foot sports medicine facility is equipped with the latest technology and treatment modalities. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for recovery.

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our rehabilitation center in Manassas, VA, running Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will work in a collaborative environment where communication and teamwork are prioritized. Our practice caters predominantly to patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to implement individualized treatment plans without constraints typically associated with other care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand each patient's specific goals and needs to ensure tailored treatment solutions.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and effective care.
• Create and implement comprehensive care plans that leverage a range of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to promote movement and mobility, focusing on cost-effective interventions that minimize reliance on medications.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to enhance outcomes.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, providing encouragement and guidance to optimize functionality.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately to maintain a high standard of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Promote wellness by developing customized fitness and lifestyle programs to bolster strength, flexibility, and overall health.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments regularly and communicate your findings clearly with both patients and colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population includes individuals undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, ranging from pre-operative conditioning to post-operative recovery. Our clients benefit from personalized attention in a supportive environment where our focus is on enhancing their physical capabilities and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions recorded against the license.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in exercise program design and implementation.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.
• A proven track record of successfully treating masss patients with similar rehabilitation needs will be an asset.
• Familiarity with advanced modalities and emerging physical therapy techniques is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
