Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, focusing on their specific physical therapy needs and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques tailored for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to a cohesive team environment for improved patient care.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions at the clinic or patients' homes, ensuring adherence to the physician's plan of care.
• Educate and train patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises and health management strategies.
• Track treatment progress, meet utilization goals, and assist in achieving overall business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will also engage with pediatric patients and involve yourself in neurological rehabilitation. Your ability to adjust treatment approaches based on the diverse needs and backgrounds of your patients will be crucial to their success.

Qualifications

To thrive in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient interactions.
• Proficient in word processing and basic computer applications to document patient care accurately.
• A passion for building and nurturing relationships with patients and the community.

Preferred Experience

Preferred applicants will have experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with a demonstrated proficiency in using evidence-based practices. Previous involvement with pediatric or neurological patient populations is a plus, enhancing your ability to provide comprehensive and empathetic care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include:
