Work Environment

You will be working in a vibrant rehabilitation center located in Manassas, Virginia, known for its positive atmosphere and innovative care practices. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while serving our community with dedication.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand patients' functional limitations and disabilities, creating tailored treatment plans to address their individual needs.
• Adhere to state practice acts and regulations, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards within physical therapy practice.
• Utilize advanced assessment techniques to review patient history, conduct specific evaluations, and document results accurately for continuous care.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols according to patients' evaluations, adapting strategies as their conditions evolve.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, recognizing shifts in patient conditions and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Engage in discharge planning and provide follow-up care as needed, maintaining accurate records of patient interactions to support ongoing treatment.
• Stay updated with corporate and clinical service training, ensuring alignment with state, local, and federal regulations.
• Participate actively in meetings and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving accessibility and effective service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is treating patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from active adults seeking to regain mobility to older adults looking to improve their functional independence. This role will allow you to make significant contributions to enhancing their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required to ensure effective service delivery.
• Current CPR certification to provide life-saving measures as needed during patient care.

Preferred Experience

While two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is a mandate, candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or prior experience in a rehabilitation setting will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous for streamlined documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits
