Position Overview

Gentle Care Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our team in Manassas, Virginia. This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic rehabilitation center, where you will play a pivotal role in facilitating recovery for patients with orthopedic conditions and varying levels of rehabilitation needs.

Work Environment

You will be working in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Manassas, VA, equipped with modern facilities and technology designed to enhance patient recovery. The center operates from Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling options from 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, allowing for a work-life balance tailored to your needs.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients referred by physicians to establish a thorough understanding of their conditions and specific rehabilitation needs.
• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and modalities in accordance with the physician's plan of care, directly in the clinic setting.
• Demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills by building rapport with patients, fostering trust and encouraging participation in their recovery process.
• Providing ongoing consultation, education, and training to patients and their caregivers to empower them in maintaining their health and wellness post-treatment.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Meeting performance metrics and utilization goals to contribute to the overall success of the rehabilitation center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients experiencing a range of orthopedic conditions, from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Your caseload may also include pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients, giving you the chance to broaden your clinical experience. Your involvement will not only focus on physical recovery but also on enhancing each patient's quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of on-the-job experience in the field of physical therapy, particularly with orthopedic patients.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex medical concepts in understandable terms.
• Proficient in word processing and electronic documentation systems.
• A demonstrated commitment to relationship-building and community involvement.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have additional experience in specialized therapeutic techniques or have pursued continuing education in areas such as sports rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, or neurologic rehabilitation. Such experience enhances our capacity to provide diverse treatment approaches and improve patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
