Work Environment

The clinic operates on a full-time basis, with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique goals and rehabilitation needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure effective outcomes.
• Maintain an appropriate patient load, ensuring each individual receives dedicated time and attention throughout their treatment journey.
• Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic outpatient care, using your prior experience to enhance patient treatment outcomes.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that focus on improving patients' mobility and reducing pain.
• Promote non-surgical treatment alternatives to minimize medication reliance, guiding patients toward holistic healing.
• Develop comprehensive care plans using various treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Motivate patients to adopt healthier lifestyle choices by enhancing their overall strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure a seamless approach to patient care, including coordination with physicians, nurses, and other professionals.
• Regularly assess and document treatment effects, modifying rehabilitation strategies based on patient progress in a timely manner.
• Maintain meticulous records of services provided, using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Web PT for accurate documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will engage with a diverse clientele, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet their specific challenges and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Virginia Physical Therapist license, free of any sanctions or board actions.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise programming.
• Proficient in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for effective documentation and patient management.
• Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques supported by the latest research and best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedics, particularly in outpatient settings, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in developing and executing personalized rehabilitation programs.
• Familiarity with current trends in non-invasive treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
