Amarante Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our highly skilled team in Fairfax, Virginia. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in guiding our patients on their paths to recovery, helping them regain mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. This position involves a comprehensive approach to patient care, encompassing evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing support for a variety of orthopedic conditions.

Our state-of-the-art facility spans over 5,000 square feet and is equipped with the latest technologies to support sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all dedicated to delivering tailored patient care. We prioritize teamwork, innovation, and compassion as we serve a predominantly privately insured patient population.

Work Environment

The clinic operates in a collaborative and friendly environment where each team member's contributions are valued. Our full-time physical therapists work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a consistent and manageable work schedule. The clinic's modern rehabilitation center is designed to promote effective treatments and facilitate patient recovery through hands-on therapies and advanced rehabilitation techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient-Centered Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that align with the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Manage Patient Caseload: Oversee a manageable patient load of one individual per hour, providing personalized attention and optimal care.
• Implement Specialized Treatments: Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to deliver effective therapeutic interventions, ensuring an evidence-based approach to all treatments.
• Develop Comprehensive Care Plans: Create diverse, tailored rehabilitation programs that address the unique challenges of each patient, including strength training and mobility exercises.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, track patient progress, and modify plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement towards their rehabilitation goals.
• Advocate for Health and Wellness: Promote lifestyle modifications that enhance patients' overall health, focusing on strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress reports to support effective continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient demographic at Amarante Orthopedic Clinic, which includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The clinic's focus is predominantly on patients with private insurance, allowing for tailored therapies and individualized attention.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic rehabilitation practices.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a strong commitment to patient care.

• Prior experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
