Work Environment

This position is located onsite in our modern outpatient office in Gainesville, Virginia. The daily schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a predictable work-life balance while providing comprehensive care to our patients. Our facility emphasizes clinical excellence in a spacious and well-organized environment, designed to optimize patient care and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our practice, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine each patient's individual goals, needs, and mobility limitations.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions.
• Manage a patient load of 2 to 3 patients per hour, delivering targeted and effective treatments that foster recovery and enhance mobility.
• Utilize manual therapy skills, therapeutic exercises, and innovative modalities to reduce pain, increase function, and promote healing.
• Track and document patient progress using electronic medical record software such as WebPT, ensuring accurate and timely communication with both patients and referring physicians.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation process, educating them on injury prevention and proper body mechanics.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals within our practice to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient population is diverse, ranging from athletes seeking performance enhancement to individuals desiring to regain functionality in their daily lives. As you build strong therapeutic relationships, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and guiding patients on their paths to recovery.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia without any board actions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing individualized rehabilitation programs that promote patient independence.

Compensation and Benefits
