Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Falls Church, Virginia. This full-time position allows you to play a vital role in restoring mobility and enhancing the quality of life for our patients. Gotham Enterprises Ltd prides itself on providing top-notch rehabilitative services within a modern sports medicine facility covering over 5,000 square feet. Our outpatient practice is equipped with the latest technology and tools to help our patients recover effectively. Our team consists of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) who are all dedicated to ensuring every patient receives extraordinary care. We primarily work with patients who hold private medical insurance, allowing for personalized treatment tailored to individual needs.

Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our Falls Church facility, where you will encounter a collaborative and energetic atmosphere focused on patient rehabilitation. The work schedule is set for Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. The center is designed for efficiency and comfort, providing an environment conducive to healing and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and fulfill the specific objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a patient load of two individuals per hour, ensuring that each patient receives adequate attention and treatment.
• Develop and implement innovative treatment plans using a variety of orthopedic therapy techniques, focusing on enhancing range of motion and mobility.
• Minimize reliance on medication by proposing effective non-surgical alternatives that promote long-term health and recovery.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that cater to each patient's unique needs and treatment goals.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their therapy sessions to enhance their functionality and drive their recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Document all services provided accurately and efficiently to maintain comprehensive patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily caters to patients seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic issues, which may include post-surgical recovery, injury rehabilitation, and preventative care. Our practice emphasizes evidence-based interventions to foster better patient outcomes, with a strong focus on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. We understand the importance of tailored therapies, given that each patient presents different challenges and recovery paths.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Falls Church, Virginia, free from any board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Comfortable with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for managing patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a dedicated orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing proven clinical skills and a strong patient-focused approach.
• Experience in providing care to a diverse patient population with varying needs and backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
