Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations, utilizing standardized assessment tools to analyze patient history and current health status.
• Formulating individualized treatment plans and clearly communicating these plans to patients and their families, incorporating their feedback and goals.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to the specific needs of each patient, adjusting techniques as required by their progress and response.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to coordinate holistic patient care.

• Documenting all patient interactions, evaluations, and treatment plans efficiently within our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Managing a consistent caseload while meeting productivity expectations, demonstrating effective time management skills.
• Actively participating in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote our services and enhance patient access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, where you will treat a varied population of patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster patient relationships.
