Work Environment

This position is onsite at our Arlington location, where you will collaborate closely with a dedicated team comprising two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced day for patient care and professional development. You will work in a warm, supportive atmosphere where your contributions can directly enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient goals and develop tailored treatment plans that address diverse orthopedic conditions.
• Manage a structured caseload, ensuring that you see one patient per hour to deliver focused, intense rehabilitation.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that optimize movement patterns and restore functional abilities.
• Educate and motivate patients throughout their therapy process, fostering a proactive attitude towards their wellness and fitness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care services, progress, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Utilize advanced EMR software such as WebPT to track patient data and streamline communication.
• Explore innovative treatment modalities and alternative strategies to minimize reliance on medications and surgical interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our orthopedic outpatient practice, you will engage with a diverse patient demographic ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors seeking rehabilitation from age-related conditions. Your efforts will not only aim to alleviate their immediate concerns but also to empower them to maintain active, healthy lifestyles beyond their rehabilitation period.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• No history of disciplinary actions against your practicing license.
• Strong background in manual therapy techniques and a firm grasp on therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT, to facilitate patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, allowing you to be well-versed in the complexities of patient rehabilitation.
• Experience developing individualized care plans that incorporate varied treatment modalities tailored to each patient's specific needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
