Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with orthopedic conditions aimed at alleviating pain, enhancing mobility, and restoring muscle function through individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee the execution of care plans by mentoring and guiding physical therapy assistants to guarantee adherence to therapeutic protocols.
• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical capabilities using diagnostic assessments to inform treatment decisions.
• Assess the home environment for rehabilitation suitability and provide recommendations that encourage patient independence.
• Administer manual therapy techniques and supervise patients in therapeutic exercises, ensuring they are motivated and educated on their rehabilitation journey.
• Monitor and document patient progress by preparing thorough clinical records, including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in case conferences to provide holistic treatments catered to each client's unique needs.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment modalities, ensuring understanding and compliance with outlined care plans.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices to continuously enhance the quality of care provided to our patients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to refine skills and expand treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions impacting mobility and physical function. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable and effective in creating trust-based relationships with a diverse patient demographic. You will work closely with individuals at various stages of recovery, from post-operative rehabilitation to functional mobility coaching for chronic pain management.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in a physical therapist role, preferably in an outpatient or acute care setting.
• Active and valid state licensure in physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification to ensure up-to-date emergency care skills.
• A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance for any travel related to patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation to provide specialized knowledge in the treatment of sports injuries, joint replacements, and post-operative recovery.
• Exposure to electronic health record (EHR) systems to efficiently document and track patient progress.
• Demonstrated ability in clinical leadership, potentially supervising junior staff or interns as part of interdisciplinary collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitively set between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
