Muscle Mastery Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist (OPT) to join our vibrant team at our Arlington, Virginia rehabilitation center. In this full-time role, you will work closely with patients to help them regain mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall quality of life through comprehensive physical therapy interventions.

Work Environment

Located in Arlington, Virginia, our rehabilitation center offers an onsite work setting where you will interact with a diverse patient population. Our facility is designed to foster teamwork and continuous learning, featuring advanced rehabilitation equipment and spacious treatment areas conducive to therapeutic practices. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balance of professional engagement and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care by creating customized treatment plans that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals, focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure quality interactions and thorough assessment of progress, allowing for personalized attention to each individual.
• Employ a range of manual therapy techniques and modalities, utilizing your specialized skills to facilitate improved movement and overall functionality.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and continuously evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to devise and implement comprehensive care approaches, incorporating physical, mental, and emotional wellness into treatment strategies.
• Educate patients on safe exercises, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices while providing motivation and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately using EMR software systems such as Web PT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Develop fitness and wellness programs tailored to specific patient needs, promoting long-term health and active lifestyles beyond the rehabilitation process.
• Stay current with research-driven physical therapy techniques and innovations to provide patients with the most effective interventions available.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work with individuals of varying ages and physical capabilities, implementing evidence-based practices to help each patient achieve optimal recovery outcomes. Patients will benefit from your expertise in non-surgical treatment strategies aimed at minimizing medication reliance and promoting holistic recovery.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold an active, unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise regimens.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, is essential for maintaining accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, enabling you to quickly contribute to our specialized treatment approaches.
• Demonstrated success in implementing evidence-based practices and achieving measurable patient outcomes will be highly regarded.
• Ongoing professional development through workshops, certifications, or specialized training in relevant areas of physical therapy is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
