We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team at Gotham Enterprises Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with patients in an outpatient setting, specifically focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation and preventative care.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our modern facility, designed to foster collaboration among our team of three physical therapists. The work setting promotes a supportive atmosphere that enhances both professional development and patient care. You will benefit from a flexible schedule, primarily working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, understanding their individual goals and needs.
• Design and implement personalized care plans utilizing a range of treatments, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities.
• Interact one-on-one with patients, dedicating approximately 40 minutes per session to focus on their therapeutic needs and progress.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their treatment, ensuring they remain engaged in their recovery processes.
• Promote alternative options to surgery through effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach when necessary.
• Document all patient interactions and progress accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and adjust care plans based on patient feedback and clinical assessments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we cater to a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Our clientele includes athletes recovering from injuries, as well as those seeking to improve their overall physical function and prevent future complications. We primarily work with commercial insurance patients, along with private pay clients who value personalized and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• A valid Virginia State license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a graduate-level degree such as a Master's or Doctorate (DPT) is highly preferred.
• At least two years of relevant work experience in an outpatient setting.
• In-depth knowledge of current treatment practices and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with patients of varying backgrounds.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional growth and learning within the field.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate documentation.
• A background in sports therapy or working with athletic populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
