Amaya Server Assistant

Job Description The Server Assistant position’s primary responsibility is to assist with the needs of the servers and bartenders. This candidate must be highly motivated, energetic, and possess great communication skills. Job responsibilities include, although are not limited to: Display a congenial appearance and be well‑groomed at all times. Handle a fast‑paced work environment and possess detail‑oriented qualities. Ensure all setups are ready for service according to standards. Assist colleagues in completing pre‑shift duties, including polishing all serving trays, setting up the bar area, polishing buckets, and performing additional side duties as outlined in the pre‑shift duties list. Assist staff in delivering a flawless dining experience, consistently providing exceptional food, superlative service, elegant decor, and exquisite presentations. Support the service team in upholding these standards and maintain them throughout service shifts. Communicate between the kitchen and the Front of House staff and vice versa. Expedite completed dishes to the service area, provide table maintenance to servers, assist bartenders with set‑up, glass polishing, and restocking of bar items. Assist colleagues in breakdown and clean‑up of service areas; e.g., replace and clean all coffee and espresso service, store all service items, clean and store service trays, and ensure the bar area is neat and tidy for the next day's service. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Food Handlers Card required. RBS Certification required. High School graduate. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions. Knowledge of restaurant operations, its services, and facilities. Must have superior guest service abilities and a complete understanding of California serving guidelines. Employee Benefits Rate of Pay: $19.00/hour USD.
