Job Description
Outpatient Surgery RN - Outpatient Surgery

Schedule:
Day Shift, 4 x 10s, Monday - Friday (rotating day off). Start time between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM, varying based on case volume.

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- CA RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- 2 years of experience in outpatient surgery or endoscopy
- Perioperative experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable with pre-op and PACU phase II workflows
- Experience with moderate sedation and rapid patient turnover is a plus

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to outpatient surgery patients throughout the perioperative process.
- Assist in preoperative assessments, patient education, and preparation for procedures.
- Monitor patients in the PACU, ensuring a smooth transition and recovery post-anesthesia.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Handle patient care with professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care provided.
