We are seeking an experienced Patient Service Representative to join our team at a busy Maternal Fetal Medicine practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a medical office environment, serving as the primary point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining smooth administrative workflows. This role requires strong organizational capabilities, proficiency with EHR systems, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-pased specialty practice.

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and lead check-in and check-out operations efficiently.
• Manage high-volume phone lines, schedule complex appointment calendars, and handle patient inquiries with high-level professional phone etiquette.
• Accurately manage and update electronic medical records (EHR) in compliance with practice protocols.
• Perform complex insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and assist patients with navigating their benefits.
• Typing and specialized data entry for billing and clinical record workflows.
• Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff to optimize daily office operations.
• Oversee key administrative tasks including medical filing, faxing, and inventory management.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of medical terminology to communicate accurately and professionally with patients, providers, and staff.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical office environment (Required).
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (Required).
• Strong proficiency in medical terminology and healthcare office workflows.
• Demonstrated track record of outstanding patient customer service and communication skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a high-volume clinical setting.

• Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
