Cage Cashiers must operate various machinery and software, maintain the functionality of cash-related machines, and observe and report unusual Guest activities.**What you get to do*** Accurately balance money received and disbursed, including the assigned bank drawer (averaging One Hundred Thousand Dollars).* Process large jackpots, guest transactions, and check-cashing services.* Check for mutilated currency and prepare it for return to the bank.* Redeem coupons, coins, chips, and tokens for guests in exchange for cash.* Perform check-cashing services, including debit/credit card services.* Redeem coins, cash cards, gift certificates, and chips for coins and/or currency for guests.* Redeem foreign currency, computing accurate exchange rates.* Redeem and validate EZ Pay tickets and script checks.* Operate basic machinery used to process currency, such as jet sort, bill counter, and calculator.* Utilize check-cashing software, guest information database, ATM software, Title 31 compliance software, and various other applications.* Observe and report unusual guest activities.**What We Look for In a Person*** Serves and develops others by building relationships.* Fosters an inclusive workplace where inclusion and individual differences are valued.* Collaborates across boundaries to achieve common goals.* Aligns organizational objectives and practices with Mille Lacs Band traditions or interests as appropriate.* Sets direction and influences others to translate vision into action.* Demonstrates drive for continued personal and professional growth.**What We Offer You*** We have a fun, energetic personality and are adventurous, creative, and open minded.* We strive to lead through our seven (7) values in all that we do. Clear communication is necessary to avoid misunderstandings and ensure smooth operations.* Excel in providing outstanding positive Guest service. This includes being friendly, approachable, and attentive to the needs of Guests.* Proactive in addressing challenges that may arise during their duties.* Being observant of usual and unusual Guest activities is vital for maintaining security and reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents appropriately.* Displaying sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential matters is crucial, given the nature of financial transactions and sensitive information.* Collaborating with other cage cashiers and team members is essential for maintaining a cohesive and efficient work environment. Willingness to assist others when needed fosters teamwork.* Cage Cashiers must pay close attention to details, especially when handling large sums of money. Accuracy in counting, verifying, and processing transactions is critical.**Physical Needs*** Talk and hear; ability to communicate effectively.* See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision.* Stand, walk, run, sit (up to 8 hours), balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl.* Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands.* Able to lift and carry objects up to twenty-five (25) lbs.**Work Environment*** Moderate-to-loud noise level (public areas).
