Production Planner (Pipe Yard Operations)
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to support daily operations within a busy pipe yard. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing production schedules to ensure efficient workflow, on?time processing, and smooth operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long?term production schedules
- Coordinate workflow between departments to ensure efficient movement of materials
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
- Communicate with operations, logistics, and quality teams to resolve delays or bottlenecks
- Track inventory levels and ensure materials are available for scheduled work
- Prepare reports on production status, capacity, and performance
- Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize workflow and reduce downtime
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations (pipe yard or industrial environment preferred)
- Strong organizational and time?management skills
- Ability to analyze data and adjust plans quickly
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments
- Proficiency with scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and production systems
- Strong problem?solving skills and attention to detail
