Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This travel position is based in Burlington, WI, at a hospital setting and includes general, vascular, and OB imaging responsibilities. You will perform portable exams and may float throughout the hospital as needed. Please review the minimum qualifications and assignment details below before applying.

Minimum Qualifications

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• ARDMS Vascular required. ARDMS General or ARDMS OBGYN required.
• BLS certification required.
• Vascular and general ultrasound experience required, including venous insufficiency.
• Experience with OB and general ultrasound.
• Must have minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers will not be accepted.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: MondayFriday rotating shifts between 07001530 and 09001730; additional noted variation includes 09301800.
• Call: weekday call required approximately 1 weekday shift per week; weekend call rotation 1:4 with approximately 45 minute response time.
• Holiday coverage: every other holiday expectation.
• Patient types: OB and general.
• Patient ratio: 1:1.
• Float: will float throughout the hospital for portable exams.
• EMR: EPIC.
• Equipment: Phillips ultrasound machines used.
• Scrub color: any. Parking: free.
