The Elder Services Lead is responsible for coordinating and supporting elder services and activities within the Social Services Department. This position assists in planning, implementing, and maintaining programs that promote health, well-being, participation, and quality of life Tribal Elders. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Qualifications Highschool Diploma or equivalent Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working in Social Services, Healthcare, Elder care, or related field Must be able to keep records and files related to elder services Must be able to lift 75 pounds Must have a food handler’s card Must have valid driver’s License Ability to communicate effectively and work respectfully with Elders, staff and community members Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement in sensitive situations Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email and data entry systems.
