You will start as an Assistant General Manager, working directly inside one of our clubs and learning how to operate the entire business. This is not an administrative assistant position and it is not a front-desk job with a management title. You will sell. You will lead. You will work leads. You will help drive personal training. Our company is growing through acquisition, which means we expect to need more General Managers, multi-club leaders, and territory operators as we add locations. But advancement is earned. Before we hand someone a club, we need to know they can help run one. As an Assistant General Manager, your job is to develop the skills and judgment required to take full ownership of a location. When you can consistently produce results, build people, protect the member experience, and operate the business without needing someone standing over you, the next opportunity becomes yours to earn.For the right person, that progression can happen quickly. What You Will Actually Do You will work alongside the General Manager and leadership team to help drive the performance of the club. That includes:Membership sales and lead conversionPersonal training activity and revenueProspecting and community outreachMember retention and experienceDaily sales and activity targetsLead follow-up and appointment settingCoaching and developing team membersHiring and onboardingClub cleanliness and operational standardsKPI tracking and accountabilityOpening and closing responsibilitiesSolving problems without waiting to be toldLearning the financial drivers of the businessYou are not being trained to complete tasks. You are being trained to run the business.The Standard We want someone who creates activity when there is none. Someone who sees a slow afternoon and starts making calls instead of explaining why traffic is down. Someone who notices a problem and takes ownership of solving it. Someone who would rather know the scoreboard than hide from it. Someone who can be coached hard, make an adjustment, and come back better the next day. And someone who eventually wants the pressure and responsibility of having the number belong to them.What We Are Building We are not simply accumulating gyms. As we acquire clubs, we are building them toward our Workout Anytime 2.0 model with expanded strength, premium wellness and recovery, body scanning, personalized programming, coaching, and a stronger member experience. That creates opportunities for leaders who want to build, not simply maintain what someone else already created. The people joining this company now have an opportunity to help build locations, teams, systems, and eventually parts of the organization that do not exist yet.Compensation This position includes competitive base compensation plus performance-based earning opportunities. More importantly, this role is designed as a development track into General Manager, where compensation changes with responsibility and performance. Our General Managers participate directly in the economics of the clubs they operate through profit sharing. A successful GM running one club can typically earn approximately $50,000–$75,000+, with multi-club leadership beginning around $75,000+ and increasing with the size and performance of the operation.
