Position Overview
A leading public accounting and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee complex tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals, professional services clients, trusts, partnerships, S-Corporations, and related entities .
This is a highly client-facing opportunity for a tax professional who can lead sophisticated tax planning and compliance engagements, manage client relationships, mentor tax professionals, and contribute to long-term client growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and review complex tax engagements involving:
High-net-worth individuals
Partnerships
S-Corporations
Trusts
Gift tax
Related entities
Serve as a primary tax advisor to HNW and professional services clients.
Develop and implement strategic tax planning around:
Compensation structures
K-1 allocations
Multi-state taxation
Entity structuring
Lead multiple client engagements while managing budgets, workflow, and deadlines.
Review the work of staff and senior tax professionals.
Mentor, develop, and provide technical guidance to team members.
Coordinate with attorneys, wealth advisors, and other outside professionals on client matters.
Research and resolve complex tax issues.
Identify tax planning opportunities and provide practical recommendations to clients.
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Required Qualifications
Active CPA license — required.
7+ years of public accounting tax experience — required.
Strong technical expertise in:
HNW individual taxation
Partnership taxation
S-Corporation taxation
Trust taxation
Pass-through taxation
Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and leading tax engagements.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Stable employment history.
