Meaning, you'll be on your feet, working with your hands, working in a dusty environment, and helping a busy maintenance team that supports our aerospace production team. Previous maintenance or production experience is helpful but not required; full training will be provided. Reliable daily attendance is required. If you have a history of missing shifts or arriving late without notice, please do not waste your time or ours.What You Will DoPerform basic maintenance duties for facility, including janitorial and small repairs, and light constructionComplete basic maintenance on motorized equipment, including oil changes, preventive maintenance, and basic repairsBe a fast learner who can understand and follow technical instructionsDiligently follow safety rules/practices to ensure performance of duties in a safe and consistent manner and comply with OSHA safe working rules and regulationsBe responsible, disciplined, and detail-orientedAbility to work efficiently in a workshop environmentRead, interpret and convey instructions, verbally and in written form, from peers and supervisorsDemonstrate a daily commitment to advancing the company's core mission, vision and operational valuesReliable team player interested in a long-term positionOther duties as assigned, such as helping other departments to meet company goalsRequirementsPrior maintenance experience not required, but preferredGood mechanical aptitudeMust have a high school diploma or GEDAble to stand up to 8 hours/day, climb stairs to the mezzanine and ladders, and perform fine-detail tasksMaintain excellent daily attendance and punctualityMaintain collaborative and positive "can-do" attitudePhysical RequirementsThe physical demand for this position requires the employee to be physically capable of working in a variety of environments and weather.
