Key Responsibilities Financial Maestro: Craft and execute financial strategies that align with our growth objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Reporting Virtuoso: Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, from monthly to annual, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. Risk Wrangler: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including those pesky tax, currency, and regulatory compliance challenges. Internal Control Maestro: Establish and maintain a fortress of internal controls to protect company assets and stay on the right side of the regulatory line. Team Leader Extraordinaire: Provide guidance and direction to the accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Audit and Compliance Conductor: Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with financial reporting and disclosure requirements. Qualifications CPA Certification: Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with active licensure. Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Prior experience in manufacturing and/or construction industries is highly desirable. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (GAAP), and regulatory requirements.
