CNC Lathe operator

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team in Rockdale, IL. This position offers a schedule of Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a pay range of $22.00 to $24.00 per hour. Core Duties Prepare CNC equipment for upcoming production cycles Ensure the safe and productive operation of lathes and CNC machinery Help maintain consistent part quality by adhering to strict tolerance requirements Utilize micrometers and calipers to verify precise measurements Contribute to a tidy and well-organized production environment Required Qualifications Possess strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical proficiency Demonstrate the ability to interpret various measuring instruments Show proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery Maintain effective communication with team members Hold a high school diploma or GED, with preference given to those with a background in machine shops or manufacturing Proficiency in CNC machine operation Expertise in setting up and running lathes Solid understanding of manufacturing and metalworking processes Mastery of precision measurement methodsAbility to successfully complete a background check and drug screening Compensation and Benefits We provide our team members with consistent weekly pay and a robust benefits program that covers vision, dental, and medical insurance.
