CT Technologist
Location: Buena Vista, CO
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description: The CT Technologist will provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The role requires proficiency in performing routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, and portable radiographic procedures.
- Conduct routine diagnostic CT Scanning, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
- Assist with biopsy and drainage procedures.
- Ensure knowledge of processing of CT systems and surgical/sterile procedures, with and without contrast media.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- ARRT and TMB license required.
- BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
- 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Must be registered in Connecticut as a general radiographer.
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
