Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or an Associate's degree as MLT

Assignment Details

• Wednesday through Tuesday schedule.
• Approximately 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Saturday and Sunday hours are 6:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• 7 days on, 7 days off.
• Full-time position in a Critical Access Hospital laboratory.
• Duties include performing a variety of routine to high-complexity tests, analyzer maintenance, calibration, and QC.
• Fast-paced computerized environment with interfaced state-of-the-art equipment.
