Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Charlotte that are seeking skilled Quoting Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for customers based on specifications and pricing models.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and customer requirements to determine material and labor costs.
• Maintain and update pricing databases and quoting tools.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding quote details, revisions, and lead times.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the quoting process.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a quoting or estimating role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for data extraction and quote generation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly) and their cost drivers.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculation and margin analysis.
• Proven ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., CPIM, CSCP)
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product lifecycles
