Through leadership, accountability, teamwork, and proactive communication, the Day Porter Lead ensures every property reflects Katsam's commitment to quality and client satisfaction. The Day Porter Lead oversees the daily operations of assigned commercial properties while leading a team of Day Porters to ensure client expectations and Katsam quality standards are consistently achieved. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for coaching employees, coordinating staffing, conducting quality inspections, resolving operational issues, and maintaining exceptional property appearance.KEY LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Day Porters. Conduct daily site inspections and quality audits. Assign daily work priorities and adjust staffing based on operational needs. Serve as the first point of escalation for employees and clients. Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance. Train and onboard new employees. Maintain strong relationships with property managers and tenants. Lead by example by assisting with porter duties when needed. Ensure OSHA, PPE, and SDS compliance. Report staffing, equipment, and maintenance concerns to the Operations Manager.QUALIFICATIONS
