Qualifications:

• Current, active Texas Special Education Teaching Certification is required.
• Experience in Life Skills or special education classroom settings is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Track and monitor progress on IEP goals, updating plans as necessary.
• Provide instruction and support focusing on academic, functional, and independent living skills.
• Collaborate regularly with related service providers and other school staff.
• Foster a positive, structured environment that encourages student growth and independence.
